Instant funding accounts run on a 7-day payout cycle, once a week, and 2-Step Pro accounts carry no consistency score. Platforms: MetaTrader 5 and TradeLocker, the only two per the login guide. Instruments: FX, crypto, indices, metals and oils, “a wide range of financial markets” per the instruments article. Its weaknesses come from its own pages. FundingTraders pays direct crypto, where FundedNext’s withdrawal article and FTMO’s withdrawal FAQ each list crypto as a standard method. FundingTraders’ Rise minimum is $200, against $50 via Rise at FundedNext (minimum-reward article) and $50 at FXIFY (minimum-withdrawal FAQ). Its first 2-Step Pro payout comes 21 days after the first funded trade (14 with the add-on), which matches FundedNext’s “First Withdrawal 21 Days” but sits behind the on-demand first withdrawal FXIFY’s payout FAQ gives its Two Phase Standard product. Its two payout pages state different processing windows (24 to 48 hours; 2 to 7 business days). Instant Funding stacks five payout gates (listed below) and bans news trading outright.

FTMO. FTMO does not depend on Rise: its withdrawal FAQ lists bank wire from $20, card payouts up to $20,000, Skrill up to $3,000 and crypto from $50, with no FTMO commission. The 2-Step FTMO Challenge has 10% and 5% targets, a static 10% maximum loss, 4 minimum days per phase and an unlimited period; the fee is refunded; and FTMO’s consistency FAQ says there are “no additional consistency requirements” beyond the Trading Objectives. News trading is unrestricted during the evaluation, and a challenge purchase can be paid by card, PayPal, Revolut Pay, crypto, Skrill or bank wire. The weaknesses sit on the same pages. FTMO’s homepage prices the $100,000 2-Step at €439 (€540 struck through), not in dollars, and it publishes no naira figure while “external payment providers may deduct their own fees”. A payout is two waits: 1 to 2 business days of review, then 1 to 2 business days to send. On a funded Standard account, FTMO’s news FAQ bans opening or closing trades within 2 minutes either side of selected news, where FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step card and FXIFY’s Two Phase Classic card both allow news trading. And on FTMO Futures, Nigerian residents stay on a Sim-Funded Account.

FundedNext. Nigeria is on neither of FundedNext’s published lists, and it is the only one of the four whose pages open all three routes to a trader in Nigeria: Rise ($50 minimum), USDT or USDC ($20 minimum) and a direct bank transfer, with payouts “issued within 24 hours”. Stellar 2-Step has no time limit and so no time pressure, a static 10% drawdown, no consistency rule, and refunds the fee with the first reward. Its homepage lists 40+ payment methods including OPay and Airtel Money, platforms including MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match Trader and TradingView, and a “Finance Magnates Africa Summit 2025 Prop Firm of the Year” badge. The weaknesses come from its withdrawal, minimum-reward and product pages. USDT and USDC requests are capped at $1,999 each, and bank transfer starts at $1,000. “The trader is responsible for covering all transfer gateway charges.” The first withdrawal is 21 days out and then every 14; the default share is 80% with 95% sold as a lifetime add-on; the funded card shows “News Trading Profit 40%” and “Max Risk 3% At any time”; each phase needs 5 minimum trading days where FundingTraders’ 2-Step Pro article, FTMO’s Trading Objectives page and FXIFY’s Two Phase card each state 4; and a reward below $20 is carried to the next cycle.

FXIFY. Nigeria is not on FXIFY’s 35-country list, where Kenya and Ghana are. FXIFY is broker-backed: its footer names Prime Intermarket Group Eurasia Ltd, licensed in Mauritius as an Investment Dealer under License Number GB24204066. Its minimum-withdrawal FAQ sets $50 on all account types, and its payout FAQ gives the Two Phase Standard (trailing) product a first withdrawal on demand after the first profitable trade is closed. The $549 Two Phase Classic $100,000 card has a static 10% drawdown, unlimited days, EAs and weekend holding allowed, “Trade Through News: Yes”, and MT5, DXTrade or TradingView. The weaknesses are on that card and FXIFY’s FAQs. The Classic card says “Payout On Demand: No” and “Payout Frequency: 14 or 30 Days”, with bi-weekly payouts sold as an add-on; the funded Classic account carries a 25% consistency rule, where FundingTraders’ 2-Step Pro article, FTMO’s consistency FAQ and FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step card state none; the Classic card lists no fee refund where FXIFY’s own Standard card lists “Refund: 100%”; leverage is “up to 30:1” (50:1 as a Standard add-on); and payouts, Rise only, “usually get processed within 3 business days” and are reviewed Monday to Friday, 9AM to 9PM GMT.

What Nigerian traders should check before buying a challenge

The country list, on the help center rather than the footer. FundedNext names five countries in its footer and 20 in its help center; FXIFY’s FAQ list runs to 35. The General Trading Guidelines ban repeated trades of 15 seconds or less on funded accounts, terminate accounts whose volume-weighted holding time averages under 2 minutes, allow copy trading between your own accounts, permit only risk-management or self-built expert advisors with a full understanding of the code, and allow VPNs. Every firm figure comes from that firm’s own website, help center or FAQ; Rise’s fees come from Rise’s withdrawal guide. FundedNext’s pages open the most routes (Rise, direct crypto and bank transfer) with the lowest Rise minimum; FTMO’s pages open four rails without Rise but price the challenge in euros; FXIFY and FundingTraders route a Nigerian trader through Rise. On rules, FundingTraders’ 2-Step Pro10, FTMO’s 2-Step and FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step each state no consistency rule, where FXIFY’s funded Two Phase Classic carries 25%. For a Nigerian trader who wants no consistency score, a static drawdown, no firm-side payout fee and a naira route with a published price, FundingTraders’ 2-Step Pro10 is a strong option; the $200 Rise minimum is the trade-off. We ran the same checks for prop firms in Pakistan. If your pick is FundingTraders, start your evaluation here.

Disclaimer: Trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for every investor.
