Trading during off-peak hours
Liquidity is naturally thinner at certain times, such as overnight and on weekends. During those windows:
Spreads may be wider than usual. Thinner liquidity typically means higher spreads, which raises your cost to enter and exit a position.
Price can move sharply on lighter volume. Size your positions and set your risk with this in mind.
Trading these quieter windows can still be worthwhile, just plan your entries, stops, and position sizing around the wider spreads rather than assuming peak-hour conditions.
