Every FundingTraders add-on explained: what each one does, which accounts it is available on, and the key conditions.

Note: Add-ons are optional upgrades you choose at checkout when you buy your account. They cannot be added later, and they apply only to the account they were purchased for. Availability varies by account type, and the checkout page shows which add-ons are available for the account you are buying.

Summary: Add-ons let you customize your account. They fall into three groups:

  • Protection: your account or your profit survives a breach.

  • Flexibility: fewer waiting requirements.

  • Earnings: more paid to you.

Your dashboard shows the live status of every add-on on your account at all times, so you always know what is active before you trade.

Daily Drawdown Shield

Hit your daily loss limit during an evaluation phase and your account survives instead of ending. We close your open positions and cancel pending orders. You can trade again at the next daily reset, and your dashboard shows the exact resume time.

  • One use, evaluation phases only. An unused Shield expires the moment your account becomes funded.

  • Daily loss limit only. A maximum loss breach ends the account whether or not you hold a Shield. This includes both limits breaking at once, and closing your positions pushing you through maximum loss. In those cases the Shield is not used and is not refunded.

  • Your balance is not restored. The Shield saves the account, not the money. Your maximum loss limit does not move, so you continue with less room than before.

  • Nothing else resets. Your trading day count, phase progress and consistency figures stay as they were.

Second Phase Reset Add-On

Breach in Phase 2 of a 2-Step Pro evaluation and you can restart Phase 2 from the beginning at no cost. Phase 1 stays passed, so the hard part stays behind you.

  • Phase 2 only, one use. It does not apply to Phase 1 or to funded accounts.

  • Drawdown breaches only. It covers daily loss and maximum loss breaches from normal trading.

  • 14 days to claim, counted from the moment the breach is recorded. While you decide, your account is suspended and trading is disabled. Your dashboard shows a countdown, and the account closes if the window passes.

  • When you claim:

    • Your balance returns to the starting account size.

    • Your loss limits and Phase 2 target reset.

    • Your Phase 2 trading day count restarts.

    • The failed attempt's trade history is archived.

  • If your trading is under review when you breach, the countdown pauses and you can claim once the review is complete. If the review finds a policy violation, the add-on is void.

  • If you also hold the Daily Drawdown Shield and breach your daily loss limit in Phase 2, the Shield is used first and your Second Phase Reset stays available.

Breach Payout Protection Add-On

If your funded account breaches a covered rule while it is in profit, you are still paid your profit split on that profit, up to 2% of your account size.

Covered breaches

  • Daily Drawdown

  • Maximum Risk Limit Exceeded (the 1% risk per trade or 1% floating loss rule)

  • Max Risk Per Trade Idea

  • Inactivity

  • Minimum Profitable Days (Instant Funding)

  • News Trading

Not covered: a maximum loss (Drawdown limit) breach, and any breach under our Toxic Trading Practices policy or terms of use.

How your payout is calculated

  1. Take your balance above your initial account size, once your open positions have been closed.

  2. Cap it at 2% of your initial account size. This is your protected profit.

  3. Multiply your protected profit by your profit split. If you bought a profit split add-on, that higher split is used.

Requirements to be paid (these and only these)

  • Consistency Score: 50% on 1-Step Pro, 15% on Instant Funding. If you fail it, the payout is not released.

  • News Meter (Pro accounts): no more than 30% of your total profit can come from news trades.

    • Because your account is closed, you cannot place further trades to bring this below 30%. If you are above 30% at the time of the breach, this payout cannot be requested.

    • What counts as a news trade, including the 5-hour hold exception for Pro accounts, is explained in our News Trading guideline.

  • Biggest Loss vs Biggest Win on Instant Funding.

  • Minimum payout thresholds: $200 via Rise, $50 via crypto. Below the threshold, standard threshold rules apply and we will tell you why.

What is waived: your payout date and minimum trading days. On Instant Funding accounts, the 3% safety cushion is not deducted.

Your account still closes. This add-on pays you what you earned. It does not save, reset or reopen the account. This is a final payout with 7 days to claim and one use, and it goes through standard payout review and verification.

No Minimum Trading Days

Removes the minimum trading day requirement at every stage of your account, including both evaluation phases and your funded account. Hit your target on day one and move straight on.

  • Your payout schedule does not change. Your first payout is still available 21 days after your first trade on a funded account, or 14 days with the 14-Day Payout Add-On. This add-on does not make payouts arrive sooner.

  • All other rules still apply, including Consistency Score, minimum payout thresholds, Maximum Risk Per Trade Idea, and every risk limit on your account.

  • Not available on Instant Funding, which has no minimum trading days rule. Its separate Minimum Profitable Days requirement is not affected and cannot be removed.

Double-Up Add-On

Receive a free second challenge account of the same size and type once you pass your original account and get funded.

  • It must be added when you purchase your challenge account.

  • Pass the challenge and get funded, then receive your free second challenge account. For example, buy a $100K account with Double-Up, get funded, and receive a free $100K challenge.

  • This is a one-time reward tied to the original account.

On-Demand Payout Add-On

Available only on Instant Funding accounts, and must be purchased before using the account. Request payouts any time once eligibility is met, instead of waiting for the fixed payout cycle.

  • By default, Instant Funding payouts follow a 14-day cycle. The first payout becomes available 14 days after the first trade on a funded account, and subsequent payouts every 14 days after that.

  • With this add-on you can request a payout at any time, while still maintaining the required Consistency Score and the minimum 3% cushion.

  • On-demand requests are processed as soon as eligibility is confirmed. Any flagged activity under review may delay processing.

Evaluation Profit Share Add-On

Earn 15% of the profit you make during your evaluation, not just after you are funded. It is paid with your second funded payout, alongside your fee refund bonus.

  • Counted up to each phase's target and locked when you pass. Later trading never changes the recorded figure, and your dashboard shows the running amount from your first phase pass.

  • Second payout means the second payout actually sent to you. A payout that is denied or reversed does not count. If you do not reach a second payout, this is not paid.

  • If you use the Second Phase Reset, your Phase 2 figure is recorded on your first successful Phase 2 pass and is not recalculated.

  • Not available on Instant Funding accounts, which have no evaluation phase.

Rules That Apply to Every Add-On

  • Checkout only. Add-ons are selected at checkout and cannot be added to an account afterwards.

  • One account only. They apply only to the account they were purchased for. They do not transfer between accounts or users, and do not carry over to a new account purchased later.

  • No cash value. They cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for credit.

  • Refunds. If you request a refund before your first trade, the full order is refunded, including add-ons. Once trading has started, add-ons are not refundable, including after a breach.

  • Toxic trading voids every add-on. No add-on applies to a breach caused by a violation of our Toxic Trading Practices policy or terms of use, including:

    • hedging across accounts

    • account rolling

    • group trading

    • unauthorized copy trading

    • latency or arbitrage abuse

  • In these cases the account is terminated, the add-on is void, and no refund is issued. A News Trading rule breach is a covered breach under Breach Payout Protection, but toxic practices such as latency or arbitrage abuse around news are not.

  • Claim windows run from the moment the triggering event is recorded on our systems, not from when you read the notification. Your dashboard shows each window with a countdown.

  • Payout rules still apply. Where an add-on requires you to reach a payout, standard payout eligibility rules apply unless the add-on says otherwise above.

  • Size changes at checkout recalculate add-on pricing against the new base price.
