How does the attribution system work?
FundingTraders uses an account based attribution system. When a new customer makes their first purchase through your link or code, that trader becomes attributed to your account. Attribution lasts for a rolling 90 day period. If the trader makes another purchase within that window, the 90 days resets. This means you continue earning commissions on repeat purchases as long as the trader stays active.
What commission types can I earn?
There are four commission types. New commissions are earned when a trader makes their first purchase through you. Recurring commissions come from repeat purchases by traders already attributed to you. Influenced commissions are earned when an unattributed trader uses your link or code. Assisted commissions apply when a trader attributed to another partner completes a purchase using your link or code. Each type has its own rate based on your current tier.
How do tiers and commission rates work?
The Partner Program has three tiers: Starter, Ambassador and Verified Partner. Each tier offers higher commission rates across all commission types. You progress through tiers by reaching referral milestones. Verified Partners receive the highest rates and retain their tier permanently. Tier details and current rates are visible in your partner dashboard.
When do I get paid?
All commissions go through a 7 day pending period before they are approved. Once approved, your earnings are added to your available balance. You can request a payout once your balance reaches $100. Identity verification (KYC) may be required before your first payout is processed.
Can another partner override my attribution?
No. If a trader is attributed to you within an active 90 day window, no other partner's link or code can override that attribution. This protects your commissions from being reassigned, regardless of whether the trader later clicks a different link or uses a different code.
What happens if a purchase is refunded?
If a purchase is refunded, charged back or reversed, the related commission will be canceled. If it was the trader's first purchase, the attribution tied to that transaction may also be removed. This is why all commissions go through a pending period before becoming eligible for payout.
