Partner Program Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Partner Program Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (“Terms”) govern participation in the FundingTraders Partner Program (“Program”) by any partner, affiliate, promoter, or participant (“Partner”).
By applying to, joining, accessing, or participating in the Program, the Partner agrees to comply with these Terms, including all commission, attribution, payout, fraud prevention, privacy, and promotional rules described below.
FundingTraders reserves the right to approve, deny, restrict, suspend, or terminate participation in the Program at its sole discretion.
These Terms are intended to:
- explain how the affiliate system works
- define how commissions are earned and paid
- protect the integrity of the FundingTraders platform
- prevent abuse, fraud, and attribution disputes
- clarify what data Partners can and cannot access
2. Participation in the Partner Program
Participation in the Program is subject to FundingTraders approval and ongoing compliance with these Terms.
FundingTraders may:
- accept or reject any partner application
- request additional information before activation
- require identity verification before payout
- restrict certain features to selected partners or VIP partners
- suspend or remove a Partner from the Program at any time if misuse, abuse, fraud, misleading promotion, or policy violations are identified
Participation in the Program does not create any employment, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint venture relationship between FundingTraders and the Partner.
3. Attribution System
3.1 Account-Based Attribution
FundingTraders uses an account-based attribution system, not a cookie-only tracking system.
This means attribution is tied to the referred customer account, rather than relying only on browser cookies. This approach helps preserve attribution even if a customer:
- switches devices
- clears cookies
- returns later without the referral link
- revisits the platform through direct traffic
3.2 Lead Attribution Before First Purchase
When a trader clicks a partner link, registers through a partner link, or visits FundingTraders through partner tracking, an initial attribution window begins.
This initial attribution window lasts 90 days for all partner tiers.
If the trader obtains their first account / makes their first qualifying purchase within this 90-day period, the trader becomes attributed to the relevant partner.
Example:
- Day 1: trader clicks Partner A’s link
- Day 1: 90-day initial attribution window begins
- Day 35: trader makes their first qualifying purchase
- Result: trader becomes attributed to Partner A
During this pre-purchase stage, attribution is not yet permanently assigned because the trader has not completed their first qualifying purchase.
If the trader later uses a different partner link or a different partner code before making their first purchase, the attribution may be assigned to the most relevant / most recent partner interaction.
Example:
- Trader clicks Partner A’s link
- Trader later uses Partner B’s code before making their first purchase
- Trader completes first purchase
- Result: trader may become attributed to Partner B
This allows FundingTraders to properly attribute traders before they become customers, while still ensuring that final attribution is based on the qualifying purchase journey.
3.3 First Purchase Attribution
When a new customer completes their first qualifying purchase through a partner link or code, that Partner becomes the affiliate associated with that trader account.
This begins the active attribution period.
Once the first purchase has been made, attribution is no longer treated as temporary lead attribution. The trader is now connected to the partner according to that partner’s tier-based attribution rules.
3.3 Rolling 90-Day Attribution Period
The attribution period remains active for 90 days from the most recent qualifying purchase made by that trader.
If the trader makes another qualifying purchase during that 90-day window, the attribution period automatically resets and extends for another 90 days from the date of the new purchase.
Example:
- Day 1: new customer purchases through Partner
- Day 1: 90-day attribution period begins
- Day 40: customer purchases again
- Day 40: attribution resets and extends 90 days from that purchase
- If no additional purchase occurs within that new period, attribution expires
3.4 Tier-Based Attribution Periods
After the trader makes their first qualifying purchase, attribution is based on the partner’s current tier.
Attribution periods are structured as follows:
- Starter - 90-day rolling attribution
- Ambassador - 180-day rolling attribution
- VIP - Lifetime attribution
This means higher-tier partners receive stronger long-term protection over the traders they bring.
3.5 Rolling Attribution Period
For Starter and Ambassador partners, attribution works on a rolling basis.
The attribution period remains active from the most recent qualifying purchase made by that trader.
If the trader makes another qualifying purchase during the active attribution window, the attribution period automatically resets and extends from the date of the new purchase.
Example for Starter:
- Day 1: new customer purchases through Starter Partner
- Day 1: 90-day attribution period begins
- Day 40: customer purchases again
- Day 40: attribution resets and extends 90 days from that purchase
- If no additional purchase occurs within that period, attribution expires
Example for Ambassador:
- Day 1: new customer purchases through Ambassador Partner
- Day 1: 180-day attribution period begins
- Day 100: customer purchases again
- Day 100: attribution resets and extends 180 days from that purchase
- If no additional purchase occurs within that period, attribution expires
For VIP Partners, attribution does not expire after purchase. Once a trader is attributed to a VIP Partner, that attribution becomes lifetime attribution unless removed due to fraud, abuse, refund rules, or policy violations.
3.6 Tier Upgrade Attribution Reset
When a partner is promoted to a higher tier, all existing trader attributions are upgraded to match the maximum attribution benefit of the new tier.
This applies to all currently attributed traders, regardless of how much time was remaining on their previous attribution period.
Example:
- Starter → Ambassador
- Partner is upgraded from Starter to Ambassador
- All currently attributed traders are reset to 180-day rolling attribution
- This applies even if a trader previously had only 10, 30, or 50 days remaining
- Ambassador → VIP
- Partner is upgraded from Ambassador to VIP
- All currently attributed traders are upgraded to lifetime attribution
- This means the partner keeps those attributed traders permanently, unless attribution is removed due to fraud, abuse, refund rules, or policy violations
This system rewards partners for progressing through the program. As partners move up, their existing trader base becomes more valuable and more protected.
The longer a partner stays active and consistent, the stronger their attribution environment becomes.
This encourages partners to keep promoting, keep growing, and keep improving over time, because higher tiers do not only increase commission rates — they also improve long-term trader ownership and revenue potential.
3.7 No Override Rule After Purchase
If a trader account is already within an active attribution period, another partner’s code, link, or promotion cannot override that attribution.
This means:
- partner links do not replace an existing active attribution
- promo codes do not replace an existing active attribution
- later marketing influence does not transfer trader attribution during the active period
- another partner cannot take over a trader who is already attributed after purchase
This rule exists to prevent:
- affiliate hijacking
- coupon sniping
- disputes over recurring commissions
- artificial reassignment of customers
FundingTraders reserves the right to determine final attribution in the event of technical conflicts, incomplete tracking, or suspected manipulation.
4. Trader Attribution Statuses
Within the partner dashboard, traders may appear under one of the following statuses.
- Referred: The trader is currently associated with the Partner under an active attribution period.
- Expired: The Partner originally referred the trader , but the 90-day attribution period has ended.
- Unassigned: The trader currently has no active affiliate attribution. This may occur if the trader:
- signed up organically
- was never attributed to a partner
- had a previous attribution period that expired
- External: The trader is currently associated with a different partner.
These statuses are intended to help Partners understand why a transaction may or may not generate commission.
Partner status is informational only and does not grant any ownership rights beyond the rules described in these Terms.
5. Commission Eligibility
Partners earn commissions on qualifying purchases according to the Program’s commission structure.
FundingTraders may classify commissions into the following types:
- New: A commission generated when a trader makes their first qualifying purchase through the Partner.
- Recurring: A commission generated when a trader previously referred by the Partner makes another qualifying purchase during the active attribution period.
- Influenced: A commission generated when a trader with no active affiliate attribution completes a qualifying purchase using the Partner’s link or code.
- Assisted: A commission generated when a trader currently associated with another partner completes a qualifying purchase using the Partner’s link or code.
FundingTraders reserves the right to determine the appropriate commission type for each transaction based on the underlying attribution and transaction history.
6. Commission Lifecycle
All commissions pass through a controlled lifecycle before becoming payable.
6.1 Commission States
Commissions may move through the following states:
- Pending
- Approved
- Frozen
- Revoked
Typical flow:
- Pending → Approved
- Pending → Frozen → Revoked
- Pending → Frozen → Approved
6.2 Pending Period
All commissions remain in Pending status for a minimum of seven (7) days.
This pending period exists to protect FundingTraders against:
- refunds
- chargebacks
- payment verification issues
- suspicious or invalid transactions
Only after the pending period ends and the transaction remains valid may the commission move to Approved status.
6.3 Approved Commissions
Approved commissions are commissions that have passed the pending review period and are eligible to be included in payment calculations.
6.4 Frozen Commissions
A commission may be temporarily frozen if it is flagged for fraud review. Frozen commissions cannot be withdrawn or converted until the review is complete.
6.5 Revoked Commissions
A revoked commission is permanently canceled and no longer payable.
7. Refunds, Reversals, and Attribution Removal
If a qualifying purchase is refunded, charged back, reversed, or otherwise canceled, FundingTraders may:
- cancel the related commission
- reverse previously approved commission
- deduct the amount from future payouts
- remove the trader’s attribution where applicable
If a trader's first purchase is refunded, the original attribution associated with that first purchase may be removed.
FundingTraders reserves the right to determine the final commission and attribution treatment of refunded or invalid transactions.
8. Payout Rules
8.1 Minimum Payout
Partners may request payout only after reaching the minimum payout threshold of: $100
8.2 KYC Requirement
Partner identity verification may be required before any payout request is processed.

8.3 Withholding or Delays
FundingTraders may delay, withhold, or decline payout requests if:
- KYC is incomplete
- commissions are still pending

- suspicious activity is being investigated
- the Partner is in violation of these Terms
9. Commission Conversion Option
FundingTraders may allow Partners to convert eligible commission balances into platform discounts or credits.

This feature is optional, promotional in nature, and may be modified, restricted, or withdrawn at any time.

Participation in the Program does not create any guaranteed right to payment unless and until the relevant commission is fully approved by FundingTraders.
